As the moon rose this evening, I was thankful that I live in the country. I wish I could have captured the softly falling leaves that were floating down like big, brown snowflakes...
Below are some photos of the girls taken recently...Reminds me how quickly the seasons come and go....
We were fortunate to visit with the Mischler family recently. We lived next door to them when McKenzie and McKayla were born. It's always good to get together with great friends!
McKenzie & McKayla.....nearly teenagers.
Blessings to all.

Fall & All
Today is a day that I cannot fail to document.
I played my very first hymn on my violin...again and again...actually.
I began taking lessons about five weeks ago and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It helps that I already read music and that my instructor is extremely talented and encouraging.
The violin was a gift from Randy last Christmas. I had always wanted to learn to play and said it was on my "bucket list". When I received it, I joked and asked if he thought I was going to expire soon or if he thought it was going to take me a long time to learn to play it.
It was a very thoughtful gift and he didn't stop there...he even sought out a teacher for me!
I hope he likes to hear the violin.....
What could be more inspiring than love and thoughtfulness?...beauty in God's creation. Enjoy these recent scenes around the farm, lake and home.
Happy Fall to All of Y'all!
May God colorfully bless you and your world.
Kim
